The mission of the Discovery Center in North Arlington, Texas  is to help develop each child's curiosity, confidence, independence, and resourcefulness as a foundational base for future learning. 

We welcome children from 18 months to Pre K age.  The focus at each age level has, at its heart, a curriculum foundation that is tailored to meet a full range of outcomes and learning objectives. 

Our private preschool has been teaching, nurturing, and caring for children, in a loving environment, since 1997.  We have low child-to-teacher ratios with 2 teachers in each classroom.  Our staff is certified in CPR, First Aid and has completed the "Safe Environment" program.

 

• Age Requirement: 12 mos. (need to be walking and eating table/finger foods)--Pre K
• School Days/Hours:  Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30am - 2:30pm 
• Chapel time 
• Play based learning through learning centers & table centers 
• Storytime
• Outside play & exploration
• Free & guided play appropriate to the child's age level
• Kindergarten Readiness (Pre K class)

• School Days/Hours:  Wednesdays, 8:30am-2:30 pm (Beginning Aug 2021)
• Science, Sign Language & Math (older children)
• Make & Play (Toddlers) 
• Enrichment for all children!
