The children of our parish performed the story of the nativity at our 5 PM Christmas Eve Pageant and Family Mass..As the story was read by four of the children, the others re-enacted the event in costume. Angels, shepherds, wise men, King Herod, the inn keeper and Mary, Joseph and the Baby Jesus were all represented. Even the lambs and donkey did very well. All provided a heart warming reminder of the reason for the season. Our Director of Religious Education, Becky Lucas, directed the entire Pageant process through practices and the performance with help from some or the parents who were available. The Mass was presided over by Rev. Msgr. Joseph Pemberton with Deacon Michael Krempp assisting. Mark Alarcon led the music responses as cantor. Pictures of the evening are below.
