The Boy Scouts of America designates the Sunday that falls before February 8 (Scouting Anniversary Day) as Scout Sunday, which is the primary date to recognize the contributions of young people and adults to Scouting. Our Boy Scouts Troop #545 at Most Blessed Sacrament Church were recognized on February 5, 2017. The troop processed in at the beginning of the 10 AM Mass. Noah Wood was the lector and several scouts brought the gifts forward to be blessed for communion. Scoutmaster Bryan Stein gave some comments after communion.
