Boy Scout Troop 545 spent the month of December concentrating on their theme of wilderness survival where they learned new skills to use on their excursions. There was a successful campout at Worth Ranch where the boys were tested on camping with minimal equipment. The Scouts also spent time volunteering at Mission Arlington where they helped families shop in the Christmas store. The Troop has grown in membership this month as we are always welcoming new boys to the Troop. The January monthly theme is technology and they will hold a Lock-In here at MBS. The Troop is also headed to Houston to visit NASA and spend the night on the Battleship Texas. A Court of Honor is planned for January 23rd to acknowledge rank advancements and merit badge achievements. The Troop meets on Monday nights (following the AISD school calendar) at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall. For more information, please contact Jennifer Stein at [email protected]
