Mission

The Guardian Ministry is a parish safety and security volunteer ministry that provides parishioners with a peaceful and safe place to worship. Guardian Ministers look out for each other and our parish community, and rely on our training to respond to various man-made or naturally occurring emergencies.

Purpose

As members of the Guardian Ministry, we are willing and able to act quickly during a crisis, and respond to emergencies together as a group. We effectively save lives and bridge the gap when the unexpected happens and first responders are several minutes away.

Get Involved

We are looking for respectful leaders with a strong, friendly and Christian approach who possess the attitude, aptitude, and level headedness needed during an emergency. MBS Guardians can serve either in an Armed Guardian capacity (aged 21 and older), or an unarmed capacity (Ushers, or Greeters aged 18 and older), or as medical practitioners.
